Word on the street is true. The Taste of Durban Festival has been confirmed for July 2015. Durban already known for it’s vast and various food offerings, has gathered once again to bring them all to one place.
The Taste of Durban Festival follows its sister The Taste of Capetown and leads the way for its brother Taste of Johannesburg. A truly South African experience and a must do to add to the list if you are visiting us from abroad. All South African’s should head over to a festival in their city at least once in their life to experience the explosion of hospitality meets culinary meets craft.
As a fellow wine lover, I am very excited to see what the famous Food and Wine Pair Chef Jackie Cameron has install for us this year. And if you know your Durban scene, you’ll be pleased to hear the folks at The Boiler Room and Cafe Vigour will also be coming to the party.

If wine is not your thing, do not miss the Castle Milk Stout Experience. And the Butchers Block Two Oceans Wine Pairing. I wonder if Two Oceans will be bringing me a Two Oceans Wine Tree?
The Festival is held over 3 days.
